When we are now here back at the profile, next thing that I want to show you is this called feature. The featured is a option where the most people don't really use to their advantage because here, you can put in a lot of things to build some social proof and to share some value. So means if you have, for example, a very good headline to think about, oh, this sounds too good to be true. Let me check out his experience.

Here now below projects, we have your skills.

Here, you can put in all of the different skills that you have. It shouldn't be too much because you shouldn't be bragging about how good you are, etcetera. So you can just list some skills here. And if you want to get here some endorsements or recommendations, etcetera, There you can use there is a prosody principle from the psychology that if you do something good, that other persons will also do something good. There we also have a short section about it inside the report.

So let's dive right into it. So now we come to the next step, the end of the profile recommendation, skills, endorsements, social proof, etcetera. There are only now 2 ways to get a bunch of recommendations and endorse skills on your LinkedIn profile. Way number 1, work with as many people as possible, ask them to go on your LinkedIn profile and leave recommendation and hope that they do it. Much faster way, way number 2, and it's also obviously saying the easier way to fill up your LinkedIn account recommendation and endorse skill by simply using your network and the law of reciprocity.

This basically means that you go to your network and every day visit 10 to 20 profiles. You write a recommendation about them and endorse their skills. And after you did that, so you can send them the following message. Hi, name. Did you know that LinkedIn users with recommendations on the profile and at least 5 endorsed skills on LinkedIn are more likely to get more profile views?

I'm currently working on boosting my LinkedIn profile, and I was hoping you could help me out here. Just left a recommendation and some endorsements on your profile. You know, quid pro quo. What do you think? And watch it at least 1 or 2 new recommendations come in every single day.

Because if the other person that you did it is a good person, then he will do it as well simply because of psychology, the reciprocity, quid pro quo. You do them a favor. They do you a favor. This will also build some credibility, some social proof, and it will really help out the visitors that they know that you really know what you're talking about and that you are a clear expert. If you now scroll further down, the next things, they aren't extremely important. So courses, if you have some, you can put it inside. Honors and awards, this definitely is something that you can put inside if you already won some awards.

Like me, for example, top recommendation 2023 from proven expert or top service provider 2023 from proven expert as well. So if you got, for example, some batches or if you got some awards, etcetera, from, for example, reviews platform, like Trustpilot, Provenexpert, or whatever platform you use to collect some reviews, this, if you have something, you can put this inside. Then the last thing that we have inside here is languages. This is something definitely that you can put inside that you want, but it is not as important as the other things I showed you in this video already. So now we already come to the end of the profile with everything else in the bottom sections.

So now when we talk about them, honestly saying these aren't going to do very, very much for you. That being said, feel free to fill them out, get the LinkedIn all star badge or just to provide some additional social proof. But same as the top voice badge, those things are about as impressive as participation trophy at the kindergarten spelling contest. So not very, very important. And very importantly, I'm not saying completely ignore these sections of your profile.

They can be useful, but only if you use them strategically. So please don't stuff them with every random course you talk, online awards you value your member winning, or certificates from LinkedIn Learning. This is something extremely embarrassing that a lot of people do because everybody can do this. There are literally nothing special. So only list stuff that really matters.

Did a very good platform award you for 100 5 star reviews. That's a perfect addition for honors and awards. That is what matters. But all the other things aren't extremely important. Languages, obviously, other person, if they see you speak this language as well, then they see this perfect list is.

But this is just not the most important things. The things that I showed you before, they're much more important when it comes to your LinkedIn profile.
